The Courthouse is home to one of few remaining Seth Thomas mechanically driven tower clocks and the only tower clock in the United States completely accessible to people with limited mobility.

Mr. Lenvik until recently was a principal in the Santa Barbara architectural firm of Lenvik & Minor Architects. He has previously served on the City Architectural Board of Review and was president and director of the Architectural Foundation of Santa Barbara. He and his wife Marcia are long-time residents of Santa Barbara.
